Where can I buy the best self working magic tricks.?

As a Magician, I would like to purchase the best self made self working magic tricks in the world, where would I go to buy these ?
I am talking about all kinds of items, cards, coins, anything that can be used in magic entertainment at Restaurants etc etc. I am also interested in electro remote controlled self working magic tricks. Can you offer me any advice where I should go ?

I’m not the best magician so to speak, but I was wondering if someone knew some simple tricks that could still shock someone, or that the secret is not so obvious. Something that will really make them think! Not TOO difficult though please! If it’s on a site, just put the link please, or if it’s one of your own secrets, type it up step by step please. Real Magic or Albert Einstein?

I’ve decided to post a bunch of questions from Chuck Klosterman’s book "Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs."

This is the first of 23 questions the author says he would ask someone to determine if he could ever love them:

1. Q: Lets say you met a rudimentary magician. Let us assume he can do five simple tricks — he can pull a rabbit out of his hat, he can make a coin disappear, he can turn the ace of spades into the Joker card, and two others in a similar vein. These are his only tricks and he can’t learn any more; he can only do these five. However, it turns out he’s doing these five tricks with real magic. It’s not an illusion; he can actually conjure the bunny out of the ether and he can move the coin through space. He’s legitimately magical, but extremely limited in scope and influence.

Would this person be more impressive than Albert Einstein?
(btw – I’ll be posting 1 question a day for the next 23 days – and there are definitely questions more interesting than this. I hope everyone enjoys)

Magic Tricks?

Okay, please dont bombard with, "they’re fake, get a life." Are they real? Just today while i was fishing, i guy a met a couple days ago at the spot i was fishing at came along. So we started talking and whatnot. Then i asked him what he did for a living out of curiosity. He says a magician. So i ask him to do a couple magic tricks. His first one was pulling a rag out of his mouth. here’s the thing. i gave a rag , he stuffed it into his fist, then waved his hands. the rag was completely missing. then he coughed a lil bit nd bam it came right out his throat .

Normally, i dont believe in nothing like this. But this has drastically changed my mind. Can someone either tell me a way he could of performed the trick or just tell me magic exsits.

I am a 14 year old magician. What do I need to become an escape artist?

I am a 14 year old magician who performs for hundreds and sometimes thousands of people at a single time in Australia. I was thinking about delving into the art of escapology. What do I need to get into the art and amaze? I already do rope, card, coin and many more areas of magic and have routines etc. but I would like to extent this into something more worthwhile and dangerous. I was thinking of chain escapes. What do you prefer? What could help me? Thanks.

Magic Tricks?

I need a set of about 15 simple magic tricks for a kids party tomorrow. I will be happy even if you can just give me one or two. Friend asked me to fill in because her magician bailed last minute, I’m a clown. I do face paints and balloons, not this stuff- I explained, I’m still gonna try for her. I need basic tricks- props are okay but they need to be like dollar-store things. A magic potion sorta thing would be FANTASTIC, I know a few card tricks, but by all means, gimme more… coin, math, whatever. Thanks!

Why do people don't believe in magic anymore?

I mean, I know it’s normal not to believe in magic at a certain age, but my 5 year old sister and her friends ( also 5) don’t believe in magic either. now a days , people just want to see magic just so they could figure out the secrets. I know its not an important question to ask, unless your a magician, but i want to know. by the way, i am talking about card/coin magic. thanks 4 answering!!

How do magicians or mentalists learn any tricks if a magician never reveals how it's done?
