You ask the person you are with to picture his hands as a tv screen. Then tell them to rewind the tv. So they pretend to rewind the tv and the coin shoots up.
I would really like to know how you do this.

You have a coin that is unfair. The probability of flipping one head is constant, greater than the probability of flipping a tail, but otherwise unknown. You and your friend would like to play a game, using the coin given. You win under certain circumstances; and your friend wins under circumstances. Give the circumstances under which you and your friend wins such that the probability of you winning is equal to the chance of your friend winning.

Note: The circumstances must not be the same, and you can have multiple events.
Note: You cannot win with your friend. If you win, your friend cannot win. If your friend wins, you cannot win. It is okay for neither of you to win, but both of you can’t simultaneously win.

When I was a kid in the 1980’s, I read a book that told the story of a little girl and boy. The boy had received a supposedly magic coin for a gift, but the family friend, a supposed former witch, said that it was not magical. Still, the boy became attached to the coin, taking him over like the one ring from Lord of the Rings. The girl cares for him and tries to get him to take it off. I can’t really remember anything else about it but I would like to find this book again. There is no reason to think that this was a popular book, that makes this quite difficult. It’s set in modern(ish) America.
