What magic tricks should I perform?
I am a 14 year old boy and I am knowledged in the field of magic. I perform coin magic and card magic. I also perform some other mind reading tricks. I am going to perform an assembly for 600 kids aged 12-18 and I was wondering what are some good tricks that I could perform?
I like the idea of quick change tricks. I have already performed the Jumping Gemini and I know the Ambitious Card Routine. Are there any other quick change tricks?

Hi,
I am also good at tricks but mostly at comps.
I think you should perform a trick called The Jumping Gemini and the Ambitious Card Trick if you know them. I really like them tricks when they just change the cards.
Anyway good luck at you assembly

I would recommend that you find yourself some stage magic!!! It sounds very much like you are a close-up performer (as I was when I started out). The size of audience you are looking to perform for is so large that larger scale illusions would be better. It would be difficult for such a large audience to see cards or coins. I would recommend doing some research and either doing some mentalism or some large scale illusions.
Hi!
You have a future in the magic dept.. i think the magic you should do is mid reading tricks and some illusions. They will make the crowd go wow.. You can also try my favorite the cut uncut rope.
Consider the size of your audience and where they will be in relationship to you.
As you are working for a larger group, consider going for effects that play bigger. If you’re known as a card guy, I would think about doing a six card or six bill repeat to your set. It plays to a large audience and the particular card showing at any particular moment won’t matter.
Ropes, linking rings, passe bottles, dove pans, and silks all can play to big audiences. Dante’s Lazy Magician plays to huge audiences. Of course, if you’re looking for material, I will always recommend Mark Wilson’s Complete Course in Magic which has a whole section at the end on building stage illusions or Harlan Tarbell’s Course in Magic which has more material than anyone could do in a lifetime.
Good luck with the show. If you get someone to videotape you, make sure they use a tripod and that if they use the zoom, they zoom very slowly. I’ve seen way too many videos lately that are unusable because the camera was handheld and the cameraman was in love with the zoom button.
