If you’ve got some basics under your belt, it’s time to step away from the DVDs for awhile and hit the books. All the serious coin workers I know point to one book – Modern Coin Magic by J.B. Bobo.

This single volume is the bible for coin workers. It will provide you not only skills, but also vocabulary to talk to allow you to talk to other coin workers. The book is inexpensive and relatively easy to get your hands on.

The problem with DVDs is that everyone is looking at the same ones, and you end up all doing the same material. Reading books will allow you figure out skills, and to develop your own material.

If you are onto other DVDs for coins, I would look for anything by David Roth. As always, DVDs by Michael Ammar (which you’ve done), Michael Close, and Jeff McBride always provide value for investment. I believe all have items specifically dealing with money magic.

Money magic is a great way to go. Coins and bills are understood around the world. People are automatically interested in money.
