Archaeological question: What are the famous/magic coin shaped stones with holes in the middle of each in them?

We were looking up the rosetta stone, and wanted to know about these three stones. They’re three flat, coin-shaped or circular stones with a peg hole in the middle of each. Apparently their origin is unknown and they have no idea about what they do.

Do you know what they are called?

the Dropa Stones?

I think there are stone coins like that on Easter Island, or maybe Ponape, but there are also similar stones which have been found in Massachusetts; some believe these were used as ships’ anchors by Viking explorers.
